The Catholic TMZ?

The other day, Sr. Helena Burns tweeted a little article about TMZ and how it has changed the celebrity media landscape over the last 10 years.

I'm weird, as you well know, and so it should come as no surprised that this inspired in me the thought of having a Catholic TMZ.

Not a website that exposes shameful things about Catholic celebrities, of course, but rather a website that builds up Catholic celebrities, promotes their articles/tweets/ideas/projects/books/etc, and brings to the forefront some lesser known Catholics who are doing some amazing things.

A Catholic TMZ would be making sure you see all the awesomeness from the Catholic celebrity world, giving you an inside look at Catholic conferences, letting you know some insider information about the Church hierarchy, sharing funny photos, pumping out homilies from media savvy priests, taking a look at the "What I Wore on Sunday" crowd, and taking the time to bring you the best Catholic content from the real Catholic Hipsters fighting the good fight out there.

So, I put it to a Twitter vote...and while there is still time for voting, it currently looks like this:

What do you guys think?

What would a Catholic TMZ look like? Does it sounds like a fun idea?

Let me know, join in on the fun, and let's have a blast!
