Saturdays Are For Confession & Craft Beer

Happy Saturday, you silly Hipsters!

You know what's great about Saturdays?

Confession & Craft Beer!

Craft Beer is an amazing gift from God, and there is no better way to enjoy it than with a completely clear conscience after the amazing absolution and grace offered in the Sacrament of Confession.

So, gets on over to Confession at your local parish today, and then hit up the local brew shop for an awesome beverage.

Here are my three choices for this beautiful Fall day:

  • Sierra Nevada Oktobfest: A collaboration of Sierra Nevada and Brauhaus Riegele, brand new for 2015! This lovely brew clocks in at 5.0%, and is just what you need on a crisp Fall afternoon.
  • Ballast Point Pumpkin Down: A Scottish Ale with a hint of pumpkin, this tasty treat clocks in at 5.8% and has the subtle Fall flavor you've been looking for.
  • KBC Pumpkin Ale: Or, if you are looking for a little more in-your-face pumpkin flavor, hit up this beverage choice easily found at Trader Joe's. It comes in around 4.7% and tastes like Fall to the max.
Oh, and while you enjoy you're brew, why not check out my podcast co-host over at CatholicDrinkie.com for all the Catholic Drinkie goodness?!

Enjoy!
