I Heart All Souls' Day

Everyone loves All Saints' Day, it's like a main event in terms of Catholic Holy Days of Obligation.

But Catholic Hipsters know that All Souls' Day is where it's really at.

And they also know that the feast is actually officially called "The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed".

Praying for the dead is a long-standing Catholic practice that goes all the way back to Judaism, if we want to be real about it. What a sad turn of events that our Non-Catholic Christian brothers and sisters have (mostly) decided to ditch the practice of praying for those who have gone before us.

To them I can only say:

Purgatory is real, people.

1 Corinthians 3:15!

Spread the message!!

May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
