People You Didn't Know Were Catholic: Chief Sitting Bull

You're not going to believe it, but we have photographic evidence!

Seen here wearing a Crucifix, it is indeed true that Chief Sitting Bull was a Catholic.

The holy man who led the Lakota tribe during their years of resistance to the United States' government, the dude who represented at the Battle of Little Bighorn, was a baptized Catholic!

While he was never able to be fully received into the Church, due to his inability to choose between twh two wives he picked up prior to coming to the faith, he was a lover of Jesus Christ and the Church He founded to be sure!

Who knew?
