Obscure Saint of the Day: St. Fridolin

Ready to fill your brain with some awesomely obscure Catholic Saint knowledge before your weekend wine tasting parties?

Today is the feast of St. Fridolin!

Fridolin was a Benedictine abbot and Irishman, known as the Apostle of the Upper Rhine.

He moved to France, rebuilt the monastery of St. Hillary, and became a hermit.

He was also well known as The Wanderer, due to his many trips for the purposes of evangelization.

St. Fridolin, pray for us!
