Obscure Saint of the Day: St. Feock

Catholic Hipsters be like, "You secular types can have your Groundhog Day, and we'll go on celebrating our beloved Church's obscure saints."

Today is the feast of the amazingly obscure St. Feock!

Here is the whole of our knowledge of Feock:

He is the patron of a church in Cornwall, England.

He was possibly Irish by birth.

He may actually be St. Fiace.

And, to more thoroughly fill in your Catholic Hipster knowledge, here is the whole of our information on Fiace:

He was an Irish Bishop.

He was a disciple of St. Patrick, who honored the great saint by writing a hymn in his honor.

His name was sometimes written as "St. Fiech."

I love being Catholic.

St. Feock, pray for us!
