#CatholicHipsterDevotions

Are you Hipster enough to rock the Cord of St. Joseph? Have you ever heard of the Little Crown of the Blessed Virgin Mary? Do you throw down some Lectio Divina while in Eucharistic Adoration?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, you certainly have some serious Catholic Hipster Devotional credentials.

One of the awesome things about being Catholic is our rich history and tradition of prayer and devotion. There seem to be nearly an infinite amount of Catholic devotions out there, and many of them are not well known.

Today we set out to share our favorite non-mainstream Catholic devotions.

We are looking to compile an list of awesomely under-the-radar Catholic Devotions. Once we have a nice little group, we'll share them on the weblog for all to enjoy.

Sure, you'll be putting your favorite underground devotion up for the world to see, but if it helps someone grow closer to Christ and His Church, isn't it totally worth it?

If you would like to join in on the fun, tweet your favorite Hipster devotion with the hashtag #CatholicHipsterDevotions, leave your favorite devotion on the comments below, or hit us up on Twitter directly @theghissilent.
